Portrait of the translator
I am an English-Spanish translator from Buenos Aires who is always eager to help make cultural spaces more accessible. Although my native language is Spanish, I also translate into English.
Passionate about art and museums since childhood, I chose to help them reach new audiences. Every project is infinitely enriching and every chance to contribute is invaluable.
Even though my game plan was to only specialize in art translation, along the way I realized I had a knack for creative work. Every translation requires a dash of creativity, no doubt, but I found myself at ease with those crazy challenging projects with rhymes, wordplay, and other beautiful condiments that may be perceived as obstacles. Advertising has always piqued my interest from three perspectives: design, psychology, and linguistics. It could be said I gravitated toward transcreation by force of nature.
I hold a BA in Translation and countless hours of additional courses. If you'd like to read my full qualifications, please request my CV via email and I will gladly share a copy!
I am a member of the Argentine Association of Translators and Interpreters (AATI).

Here's a picture of me stylishly matching a painting by Argentine artist Alicia Orlandi. I translated into English a book about her for Roldan Moderno, an art gallery in Buenos Aires.

Beyond my translation work, I collaborate in graphic design and illustration projects. I have also partnered with advertising agencies and assisted with campaign creation, research, and cultural consultancy.
By the way, I made the site and its illustrations myself. Not too shabby, huh?
When you trust me with your translation needs, you can rest assured that an experienced and passionate professional will be on the case.
